Simplifying your business

Today I would like to talk about a couple things that are important for any gym, no matter what size you are. It’s easy to overcomplicate things. It’s smart to keep things simple. Steve Jobs always emphasized the importance of simplicity. Jobs said “It takes a lot of hard work to make something simple, to truly understand the underlying challenges and come up with elegant solutions.”

1. Pencil it in!

Actually, use a sharpie. Did you know the average person spend the first 15 minutes of their day on Facebook & Twitter? Set aside 15 minutes a week – the equivalent of one morning of social media and go over the finances of your business. With Snap! we offer a full accounting system with reports so you can see where your money is coming from. Classes that are popular, which child’s birthday is coming up so you do not forget, who has paid & has outstanding balances. You’ll be more organized & have more insights into your business &be able to make more informed financial decisions.

2. Less is More

The success of brands like Google and Apple have proven that, when it comes to messaging, product offerings, and user experience, simple is better. Wherever possible, make sure your customer-facing processes are as simple as possible. Fewer steps will lead to a faster resolution, which is good news for everyone. Snap! allows your client to enroll & pay online anywhere whether it be the gym, at home or even waiting in the car pool line.

Clickable Links on your Gym’s Website

Making the links on your gym’s website is a definite MUST.  It makes things easier on your clients and creates more time for you to be on the floor doing what you love- COACHING, instead of on the phone or at the printer.

Here is how to accomplish this on your website today:

1. Type in text in the text area, for example, “Registration.”

2. Highlight the text.

3. Click the insert/edit link icon       Screen Shot 2015-07-22 at 10.37.20 AM

5. Under the Target Tab, you can choose same window or choose the _blank option. This will cause a new window to open when your clients click on it.

Click save and you are good to go!
